Tigers get out to early lead
McNeese won the toss and deferred, leading to a 24-yard return on the kickoff by backup freshman tailback Marcus Murphy.
The Missouri offense started off strong, picking up a quick first down before freshman tailback Henry Josey broke loose for a 34-yard run to enter McNeese State territory.
Josey would later punch it in from six yards out for the Missouri score just three minutes into the game. The Tigers are out to an early 7-0 lead.
