Missouri comes out strong
In the first five minutes of the game, Missouri has shown that they aren't treating this one like it doesn't matter. Senior forward DeMarre Carroll has been all over the court. He dove for a loose ball early, recovered a steal and even knocked down a three-pointer. Last year, he hit three three-pointers all season.
Junior guard Zaire Taylor has also looked sharp so far. He hit his first shot attempt after making a nasty spin move that left him open in the paint.
The Tigers lead 13-5 with 15 minutes remaining in the first half.
