With Nebraska leading 10-9, a LONG rally between Missouri and Nebraska resulted in what could be a match-changing point. After several athletic digs by both teams kept the point alive for about a minute (a lifetime for a point in volleyball), Julianna Klein appeared to kill a ball from the left side to tie the set. However, a controversial late call gave Nebraska the point, a call that was later confirmed as a Missouri net violation on Weiwen Wang. Nebraska then took the next point before a timeout to take a 12-9 lead in the second set.
