Missouri escapes first half with the lead
Despite struggling to get into an offensive rhythm, Missouri has kept the Nevada offense in check with a furious pass rush and has a 12-7 lead heading into the locker room at half.
The Wolf Pack's poor game management didn't help their cause in trying to score on a final first half drive. After recovering a Tiger fumble deep in Missouri territory, Nevada was hampered by a penalty and the fact it had no timeouts left to use.
Meanwhile, senior linebacker Sean Weatherspoon and Co. have put the screws on the Wolf Pack attack. After scoring a touchdown in the first quarter, Nevada has dealt with a heavy Tiger pass rush that has resulted in a couple key sacks.
The Tiger offensive stat sheet may not look pretty, but Missouri has the most important advantage: the lead.
