Missouri finishes off the Wolf Pack

While they may have not started as well as they wanted tonight, the Tigers got stronger as the game went on and eventually polished off Nevada 31-21.

Gabbert put up big numbers against the Wolf Pack: 25 of 39 passing for 401 yards and three touchdowns. Alexander had his second-consecutive multiple-touchdown game and caught for a total of 169 yards.

Nevada continued to be plagued by turnovers, the most costly of which occurred on a fumble inside the Tiger five-yard line. Missouri drove down the field to score a touchdown and pull away for good.

Ressel hit four more field goals and has yet to miss one in 2009.

The Tigers go undefeated in non-conference play for the fourth-straight year and extend its school-record non-conference win streak to 14 games.

Missouri enters a bye week and enters Big 12 play on Oct. 8 against Nebraska.
