After forcing Missouri to go three and out, the Texas Longhorns blocked the ensuing punt. Pinned on their own five-yard line, the Tigers snapped the ball into their own end zone where punter Jake Harry's kick was blocked by Curtis Brown. Malcolm Williams recovered the kick in Missouri's end zone for the touchdown. Texas now leads the Tigers 35-7.

The Longhorns have been swarming Missouri's offense, and dominating their defense. Quarterback Colt McCoy is 18/21 for 213 yards and three touchdowns. McCoy did not throw his first incompletion until midway through the second quarter.

Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert on the other hand, is 7/13 for 60 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Danario Alexander has been his favorite target, hauling in four passes for 34 yards. Overall, the Longhorns have out-gained the Tigers on offense 285 yards to 102.
