Texas Strikes First

On the opening drive of the game, the Texas Longhorns marched 61 yards downfield into the Missouri end zone and took a 7-0 lead. Texas quarterback Colt McCoy completed all three of his passes during the drive, and connected twice with wide receiver Jordan Shipley. Shipley's first catch, the first play of the drive, was a 31-yard completion. The second was a 7-yard touchdown pass.

Missouri will now have a chance to respond on their first possession of the game. For all the updates of the game, check out themaneater.com and maneatersports on Twitter.
