Third Quarter Comes to an End
The Texas Longhorns continue to dominate on both sides of the ball at Faurot. However, their torrid pace slowed slightly in the third quarter, as they only managed a field goal. Texas now leads the Tigers 38-7.
Sophomore quarterback Blaine Gabbert re-injured his right ankle when he was sacked in the middle of the quarter. Sophomore quarterback Jimmy Costello came on in relief but has been unable to generate much more offensively than Gabbert.
