Denmon steps up late
Slowly but surely Texas Tech managed to creep its way back into the game and eventually cut the deficit to seven points with about six minutes remaining. Tiller picked up his fourth fould and had to go to the bench, bringing in Denmon.
After airballing a three-point attempt Denmon regained some confidence by making a layup off of a great feed from Zaire Taylor. Denmon then converted two free throws after drawing a foul after a steal. He then spotted up from about two feet behind the three-point line and drilled a three-pointer, putting Missouri up 85-70.
Mizzou arena exloded. The Tigers now lead 87-73 with 3:29 to play.
