Halftime update
For the second straight game Missouri has scored over 50 points by halftime. In this one they lead 53-41 over Texas Tech. Much of the Tiger's success has come from active hands on defense and fundamental offense.
Missouri holds the advantage in the turnover 17-7, forcing 10 steals. While MU has been in control from the start, Tech has done a nice job keeping the game within reason.
Lyons leads the Tigers with 12 points off the bench and Carroll is right behind him with 11. Eight of Lyons' 11 points have come from the free throw stripe where he is yet to miss.
The Tigers are shooting 44.4% from the field and nearly 90% from the free throw line. Tech has also been shooting the ball well at 48.3%.
Missouri must come out with the same intensity it had to start the game in the second half. Last time out, things got sloppy and the Tigers nearly collapsed against Oklahoma State after opening up a double digit lead.
