Gabbert and company drove 72 yards in just five plays with a 38-yard touchdown reception by Jerrell Jackson to cap it. Jackson broke away from a pair of tacklers to run in for the score.
Missouri went for two after the touchdown but it was fumbled on the quarterback-running back exchange.
Tigers now lead 26-21 with 12:43 left in the game.
