Tigers look to exploit Texas Tech defense
The No. 14 Missouri Tigers (7-1, 3-1 Big 12) are set to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-4, 2-4 Big 12) Saturday at 7 p.m. The Tigers are coming off a tough loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, their first of the season. The Red Raiders are coming off a blowout loss to the in-state rival Aggies last weekend.
Missouri will look to exploit the Texas Tech defense, which has allowed almost 400 yards per game in the last four weeks. The Tigers were held to only 199 passing yards against the Cornhuskers last week, but that number should climb against the poor Tech secondary.
The Tigers hold a 5-2 series lead all time against the Red Raiders. Missouri won 38-21 in 2006 when the Tigers last visited Lubbock, Texas.
