Both teams face early jitters
Well the atmosphere has certainly had an impact already. Neither team came out quite prepared for the pressure that a packed Mizzou Arena can bring.
The Jayhawks got on the board first with a dunk by Taylor three minutes and thirty seconds into the game. Missouri responded instantly with a DeMarre Carroll layup on the other end.
Both teams have shot one of five from the field so far. It seems like everyone is having a hard time communicating on the court with the extreme noise levels.
