The gates have opened
With less than 90 minutes until tipoff the gates of Mizzou Arena have opened and the seats are beginning to fill. There's a buzz inside that can't be avoided. With ESPN taking over, the Zou Crew seems ready to put on a show for the national audience.
Kansas has yet to drop a conference game, sitting at 8-0 in the Big 12. Missouri has a comfortable slot at third place in the conference with a 7-2 record. A win tonight would all but guarantee the Tigers a ticket to dance in March.
What makes tonight's game so exciting is Missouri's unpredictability. It's impossible to project who will have a big night. Sure, Carroll and Lyons will play a factor, but the Tigers have been led by three different scorers in their past three games.
