After the timeout, Kansas scored a quick bucket, which Missouri followed with a bad shot early in the shot clock. On the ensuing possession, Sherron Collins hit the first of two free throws, missing the second but getting the rebound and hitting a 14-foot jumper.
At a TV timeout with 15:50 to play, Missouri trails 39-27. Missouri is 11-of-35 from the field, including 1-of-10 from three-point range.
