Sloppy, clean play

No tags for this entry.

If there was ever a game that could justify the contradiction "sloppy, clean play," this might be it.

In the games first 16 minutes, the teams have combined to commit only six fouls, as tonight's officials have swallowed the whistles and allowed the teams to play. The teams have shot only four free throws.

However, the offensive ball handling has been sloppy at best. The team's have committed 21 turnovers, and each team is shooting under 40 percent. Missouri is shooting 25.9 percent and likely couldn't even buy a field goal at the moment.
