A tale of two Leos
Pardon the contradiction, but Missouri remains in the game against Kansas thanks to Leo Lyons, but may be playing its way out of the game thanks to Leo Lyons.
Lyons' work inside helped Missouri cut the Kansas lead to 46-43, at which point Mizzou Arena was shaking. However, multiple bad looks inside directly into the waiting hands of Cole Aldrich have allowed Kansas to fight back to a 54-43 lead, thanks in part to easy baskets generated off Lyons' misses and/or blocked shots.
Lyons is now 4-of-14 for the evening for 11 points. DeMarre Carroll has 14 for the Tigers.
