Tigers win in dramatic fashion, 62-60
Mizzou Arena has erupted, as Zaire Taylor hits yet another clutch shot, giving Missouri a 62-60 win over archrival Kansas.
Taylor got a friendly bounce off the east rim, hitting the winning shot on a jumper with 1.5 seconds to play. Kansas tried a desperation heave, but Cole Aldrich's contested shot missed off the backboard.
The Missouri players immediately ran to the student section to celebrate, who had been surrounded by event staff hoping to prevent the fans from rushing the court. The fans and team have since rushed the court, with the players leading the fans in a "M-I-Z" chant. As I type, the entire court is filled with students singing "Ol' Missouri."
Mike Anderson has his signature win, and the Tigers likely win a game they had NO business winning after their pitiful performance in the first half.
