Things looking grim for Missouri
The Tigers failed to put any points on the board on their ensuing possession and turned the ball over on downs. Seven and a half minutes remain in the game and, if Missouri has any plans of coming back, a turnover is desperately needed.
After moving the ball with relative ease in the first half, the Tigers offense has failed to score in the second half so far. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State has not had that many big plays but has managed to run the ball effectively and run down the clock.
A score by Oklahoma State on their current possession would be a knockout punch.
Another Cowboys field goal has OSU pulling away
Missouri is not doing itself any favors in trying to come back in this game.
After Oklahoma State hit a field goal for 30-17 lead, junior kick returner Jasper Simmons fumbled the ensuing kickoff. The Cowboys then hit another field goal to extend their lead to 16 points.
The Tigers have to work fast if they have any hope of coming back in this game.
Field goal increase Oklahoma State lead to 10 points
After trading possessions to start the half, the Cowboys have increased their lead on the strength of a 26-yard field goal.
Missouri has struggled to get anything going on offense in the second half and, with less than five minutes left in the third quarter, will look the strike closer to Oklahoma State before its too late.
