Nebraska Adds to Lead
The Cornhuskers continued their late assault on the Tigers, as they scored another touchdown to go up 20-12. Nebraska has scored 20 unanswered points in less than five minutes.
The touchdown was set up by another interception thrown by Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert. It was his second of the game, and second of the season. This time, it was cornerback Dejon Gomes who grabbed the pick, and took it to Missouri's 10 yard line.

Cornhuskers Strike Again
In the span of less than one minute, Nebraska went from being down 12-0 to leading 13-12. Quarterback Zac Lee connected with Niles Paul again, this time from 18 yards out. Lee more than doubled his passing yards in the game during the past two drives. The Huskers did, however, miss the two-point conversion.
The drive was set up when Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert was picked off by deep in the Tiger's zone. It was the sophomore's first interception of the season and it came at a costly time. With 13 minutes left in the game, Gabbert has the chance to lead the Tigers to another comeback.

Nebraska Cuts the Lead
The Cornhuskers finally got on the board, and did it in a big way. Trailing 12-0 and unable to manage much offensively all game, quarterback Zac Lee connected with receiver Niles Paul on a 56-yard touchdown pass. That strike narrowed Missouri's lead to 12-7 with just under 14 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Tigers on Top After Three
The Missouri Tigers added to their lead over the Cornhuskers in the third quarter. After the two teams traded punts for most of the quarter, the Tigers got a 33-yard field goal from kicker Grant Ressel to go up 12-0.
The defense has been swarming Nebraska quarterback Zac Lee and running back Roy Helu Jr. The Huskers have managed only 30 yards on 23 rushes, and 79 yards through the air.
Missouri, on the other hand, has gotten just enough offense to hold a 12-0 lead. They will look to add to that here in the fourth quarter, while keeping Nebraska under wraps.

Ressel Redeems
After missing his first field goal attempt of the season earlier in the quarter, kicker Grant Ressel nailed a 33-yard kick to give Missouri a 12-0 lead over Nebraska. The kick came after another Tiger drive stalled in the red zone, as the team was plagued by more penalties.

Missouri Misses Scoring Opportunity
Kicker Grant Ressel missed his first field goal attempt of the season early in the third quarter. The sophomore missed from 43 yards out, and the Tigers failed to convert on another fumble by Nebraska.
Husker's quarterback Zac Lee fumbled a bad snap, and the Tigers recovered in Nebraska's territory. It was NU's fifth fumble on the night.

Missouri Scores at End of Half
Gary Pinkel and the Tigers made a gutsy call on fourth and one and it paid off. Standing on Nebraska's one yard line, quarterback Blaine Gabbert took the ball into the end zone himself to score the game's first touchdown and put Missouri on top 9-0. It was also the last play of the first half
The drive was keyed by a 38-yard catch by Jared Perry, his second big grab of the game. In all, the Tigers drove 44 yards for the score.
It was a sloppy first half for both teams, with a combined total of six fumbles - four by Nebraska and two by Missouri. Each team lost one of their fumbles. In addition, the punters got in plenty of work, with MU's Jake Harry booting the ball six times, and NU's Alex Henery adding five punts of his own.
The rain continues to fall, and there are no signs of it letting up. And for now, the Tigers hold a 9-0 advantage over their visitors.

Missouri Strikes First... Sort Of
The Missouri Tigers have taken the lead early in the second quarter at Faurot Field. After forcing Nebraska to go three and out, Husker's punter Alex Henery fumbled the snap in the end zone, then proceeded to throw it out. Thus, Missouri has taken a 2-0 lead over Nebraska. The fumble was the fifth of the game for both teams combined.
Missouri started the subsequent drive on their own 30 yard line, and will try to maintain the momentum.

Score Tied 0-0 After One
The Tigers had prime field position after recovering a Huskers fumbled punt, but wasted the opportunity. Instead of heading towards the end zone, Missouri faces a 4th and 29 situation thanks in part to a holding penalty and a Nebraska sack, which ended up being the last play of the first quarter. Neither team has found the end zone yet.

Turnovers Galore
The Missouri Tigers and Nebraska Cornhuskers are still knotted up at zero, thanks in large part to turnovers. The Huskers recorded the first takeaway when junior defensive tackle Jared Crick recovered Blaine Gabbert's fumble.
But the Tigers got revenge on their most recent punt. Nebraska muffed the kick and Missouri took over at the Husker's 32 yard line. We will keep you posted on MU's progress on themaneater.com and maneatersports on twitter.
