Nebraska started fast in this one, scoring on their first offensive play and then putting together three more scoring drives in a row. Their defense also held Missouri to three three-and-outs to start the game.

The Tiger offense got going in the second quarter with the nifty, QB sneak fake for a touchdown. The Tigers had a few more chances to gain ground in the second quarter but were unable to put points up.

One chance came on a 54-yard field goal attempt that fell short. Another on a potential touchdown pass that fell out of Rolandis Woodland's hands.

Martinez and the Huskers already have 300 yards of offense to the Tigers 166. Senior running back Roy Helu has 165 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

The one-sided score might look worse than it is for the Tigers, as all three Nebraska scores came on big plays from broken defense. The Missouri defense hasn't allowed them to put together any long drives.

The Tigers go into halftime trailing 24-7 and will receive to start the second half.
