Missouri's Hoehn defeats Nebraska's Salazar
Just six seconds into the match, senior Marcus Hoehn was able to score a takedown against Nebraska's Curtis Salazar. Hoehn cut Salazar loose and neither wrestler was able to score a takedown for the rest of the period. Hoehn chose to go down in the second period, and was able to escape to go up 3-1. Hoehn then added to his lead by getting another takedown. After Hoehn cut Salazar loose, Hoehn was able to get another takedown in the closing seconds of the period to go into the final period with a four point lead. Salazar quickly escaped, but Hoehn got another takedown. Hoehn was able to then hang on to win the match by a score of 9-5. Missouri now leads over the Cornhuskers 9-4.
