Nebraska gets on scoreboard
Next up for Missouri was Columbia native Taylor Crane going against Nebraska's Matt Vacanti. Vacanti quickly earned a takedown. After Crane quickly escaped, Vacanti earned another takedown, and cut Crane loose this time. In the closing seconds of the period, Vacanti earned yet another takedown to end the first period up by four. Vacanti earned an additional four takedowns in the second takedown. Due to his success thus far in the match on his feet, Vacanti opted to start the final period on his feet. The decision paid off as Vacanti earned two more takedowns to win 20-7. Missouri now leads 6-4.
