Sherry starts off strong, falls apart at end

Missouri's Andrew Sherry wasted no time in contributing his mark on a match that is swinging Missouri's way so far. Not even a minute into the match, Sherry took down Nebraska's Robert Sanders. After Sanders escaped, Sherry immediately got another takedown, but got reversed. The first period ended with Sherry holding a slight 4-3 lead. In the second period, Sherry took down but was unable to escape. In the final period, Sanders escaped just nine seconds into the period to tie up the match. Sanders then got a takedown with 1:08 remaining and was able to ride Sherry out for the rest of the match to win 7-4. Missouri now leads 9-7.
