Some thoughts so far
-Both Biden and Palin have been battling over the area of taxes. Biden has again been emphasizing the tax breaks that Obama's plan will give, whereas Palin has attacked Obama and Biden's record in the senate over budget bills.
-Palin is clearly trying to connect with the TV viewers outside of the screen. Biden, not to be outdone, has been emphasizing his working class roots (he grew up in Scranton, PA) and his various stories with voters.
-Palin has been somewhat ignoring the questions by Ifill and responding to a lot of what Biden has said in his previous answer. Palin is also talking about her record as the governor of Alaska, especially in terms of energy security.
