Ellis advances to finals
Ranked No. 2 in the country, junior Mark Ellis faced off against Oklahoma State's Jared Rosholt, ranked No. 3 in the country. After a scoreless first period, Ellis managed an escape just 11 seconds into the second period to take a one point lead. In the third period, Ellis was able to ride Rosholt out long enough to get a minute of riding time in and gain an additional point. Rosholt escaped, but it wasn't enough. Ellis was able to walk away from this dual with a 2-1 victory over Rosholt. Ellis will now wrestle Iowa State's David Zabriskie, ranked No. 1 in the country, for the championship.
