Defensive battle leads to uneventful third quarter

After an early second half field goal for the Tigers, neither team struck the scoreboard in the third quarter. Both defenses forced multiple punts and neither offense could put together a successful drive in the past twelve minutes.

The score remains 20-14 Missouri at the start of the fourth quarter.
