Missouri leads 29-25 at the half
Leo Lyons did exactly what Missouri needed him to in the final three minutes of the first half. The senior forward started his own seven-point run for the Tigers with a monstrous back-door alley-oop from freshman guard Miguel Paul.
Missouri goes into halftime with a 29-25 advantage. Cornell has played tough and has been able to hit key shots, like the final jumper to beat the buzzer at the end of the period.
Anderson needs to make sure that his guys continue to feed the ball inside to Carroll and Lyons. The two are clearly the most dominant players on the court and should be able to take over.
The most surprising part of the half is how ineffective Missouri's pressure defense has been. Cornell had no problem breaking the press and finding open looks down the court.
