Tigers overcome quick deficit
Cornell got out to a quick 5-0 lead. The Big Red hit both of their first two field attempts. DeMarre Carroll provided the first offensive spark for the Tigers with a nice take to the basket that resulted in an easy layup.
After committing a foul on Cornell's seven footer, Jeff Foote, senior forward Leo Lyons went down with some sort of leg injury.
The Tigers took their first lead of their game after a pretty move by junior forward Zaire Taylor to open up a layup. Cornell already looks a bit winded as Missouri has pushed the ball quickly down the court at the change of every possession.
Missouri leads 6-5.
