Marquette takes the lead
So much for being a second half team. It's been exactly the opposite in this one. Early, it looked like Missouri's terrific bench play would keep the starters fresh for the final stretch, but all of the Tigers look completely gassed.
Marquette has led by as much as three, but the score is now 73-72, and the Golden Eagles have possession. Matt Lawrence hit a big 3-pointer to put Missouri ahead 70-68, but Marquette will not back down.
McNeal is having the game of his life. He leads Marquette with 29 points and has been unstoppable as of late. Missouri's going to need to play some defense in the final four minutes.
