Tigers not concerned about James' availability
I just spoke with Dave Reiter, Missouri's men's basketball spokesman, and he said that the team found about James' clearance to play at the same time as everybody else.
Missouri wasn't able to put in any preparation for James as the news didn't break until right around midnight early this morning. Reiter said that the news isn't a concern for the Tigers.
"We worry about us," he said. "If we can do what we want to do, we don't worry about what they want to do."
It's still unknown what exactly James will bring to the game. The most logical prediction would say it will be mostly an emotional boost and that he won't be able to string together more than a few minutes of playing time in a row. His surgically repaired broken foot has to well under 100 percent as the injury occurred less than a month ago.
Running with the Tigers isn't easy for anyone, especially if you've only got one foot to do it on.
