Bowling Green Up 7-0
The Bowling Green Falcons struck first Saturday, as senior quarterback Tyler Sheehan connected with sophomore wide receiver Ray Hutson on an 11-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.
The 10-play, 80-yard drive was highlighted by key catches from junior Willie Geter and Hutson. Sheehan hooked up with Geter for a 21-yard grab early on in the drive, and Hutson added a 12-yard catch a couple plays later.
Further complicating things for Missouri, sophomore quarterback Blaine Gabbert fumbled the ball on the ensuing Tiger drive. The Falcons recovered on the Missouri 22 yard line.
