Obama cancels events this week
According to an Associated Press report released Monday night, Democratic presidential candidate has cancelled two of his campaign events for Thursday and Friday to visit his ailing grandmother in Hawaii.
Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs told the Los Angeles Times that other campaign activities would continue in Obama's absence. Obama's wife Michelle will go in place of Barack to two events in Ohio on Friday.
