St. Louis Post-Dispatch announces support for Page
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch announced their support for Sam Page in the Missouri lieutenant governor’s race on October 19.
In an editorial, the paper listed Kinder’s accomplishments in office, then said he was a “a highly partisan, low-tax, pro-business, rock-ribbed conservative.”
The editorial said healthcare was the main reason for their endorsement of Page, who has worked as an anesthesiologist for the last 12 years.
Four years ago, the Post-Dispatch supported Page’s Republican opponent, incumbent Peter Kinder.

The race is neck and neck and there truly is no clear front runner. All offices are up for grabs except the governor, and secretary of state. The Lt. governor's race is a dead heat because Missourians are not sold on Kinder. Kinder knows that and that's why he's running with the negative campaigning.

According to today's St. Louis Post Dispatch, Peter Kinder has a nine point lead over his opponent going into this final week of the Lt. Governor's race. Kinder will be re-elected because he works so hard and is so popular with Missouri's college students, senior citizens, rural folks, and urban professionals.
