Joe Biden to campaign in Jefferson City

Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden will speak about presidential candidate Barack Obama's vision for creating change Thursday in Jefferson City.

Biden's stop in Jefferson City is part of a two-day tour through Missouri. He will also stop in St. Joseph and Liberty on Thursday and in Springfield on Friday.

The Jefferson City rally will be held in Memorial Park on 2301 W. Main Street. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Tickets can be picked up at the Columbia Campaign for Change office, located at 22 9th Street.
