Hang with the candidates on Election Night
While it is unlikely that you would get to watch the elections results roll in alongside Barack Obama or John McCain, your local and statewide representatives will be all around Columbia and in St. Louis to celebrate their victories, or, hang their heads in sour defeat.
Either way, Politics Watch predicts that Columbia stores will sell Alka-Seltzer and aspirin by the metric ton on Wednesday morning.
The Obama campaign and the Boone County Democrats will be at The Blue Note, which is located at 17 N 9th St.
Democratic governor candidate Jay Nixon will be in St. Louis, which is located at The Pageant 6161 Delmar Blvd. His Republican rival Kenny Hulshof will be at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia, which is located at 2200 I-70 Dr SW.
Blaine Luetkemeyer, the Republican candidate for the U.S. 9th Congressional District, will be at the Stoney Creek Inn, which is located at 2601 S Providence Rd. He will be joined at the event by fellow Republican candidates Ed Robb, who is running for re-election in the 24th House District and Kurt Schaefer, a candidate for the 19th Senate District.
Luetkemeyer's Democratic rival, Judy Baker, will be at the Tiger Hotel, which is located at 23 S 8th St. along with Sen. Chuck Graham of the 19th Senate District.
Democratic candidates Mary Still, of the 25th House District; and Chris Kelly, of the 24th House District, will be at Billiards on Broadway, which is located at 514 E Broadway.

I would like to attend Lt. Governor Peter Kinder's Victory Party. Does anyone know where it will be held? I already know where his opponent's concession speech will given, and I will NOT be attending that pity party.

Yes, you are correct, Sarah -- Mary Still will be at the Top of the Tiger until 10 p.m., then she will head down to The Blue Note where the Boone County Democrats and Campaign for Change will be having their rally. And, to answer Advocate's question, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder will be in Chesterfield at the Drury Inn, which is located at 355 Chesterfield Center East.
