New York Times reports Amendment 1's passage
The New York Times reported that Missouri's Amendment 1, which makes English the official language of all statewide government meetings, has passed with 89 percent of the vote.
As of 9:38 p.m., Missouri voters were leaning toward approval of Amendment 4 with 55 percent of voters approving the measure.
Voters also tended to support Proposition A by a 54-46 margin, and were also in support of Propositions B and C.

I think this is a great amendment.. it helps out not just the government but the world and lets most ppl that need to be heard are now heard
