Boone County officers will be sworn in on New Years
Newly and re-elected officials for Boone County will be offcially sworn in tomorrow morning in Columbia.
Kathy Richards, a Democrat who won the office of Boone County Administrator in the election, will be sworn in at 11 a.m. at the Roger B. Wilson Boone County Government Center.
Dwayne Carey, a Democrat who was re-elected for Boone County Sherriff, will also be sworn in tomorrow, as will Kay Murray, who was re-elected as county treasurer, and Skip Elkin and Karen Miller, who were re-elected as associate commissioners of the county.
