Bring 'em out, bring 'em out
With about 37 percent of the state's precincts reporting, U.S. Rep. Kenny Hulshof is leading State Treasurer Sarah Steelman by more than 10,000 votes. The lead translates to about 6 percent of the vote.
In the race for Democratic nominee of the attorney general race, State Sen. Chris Koster of Harrisonville leads with 37 percent of the vote. Opponents State Rep. Margaret Donnelly of Richmond Heights and State Rep. Jeff Harris of Columbia each have 28 percent.
In the race for the Ninth Congressional District, State Rep. Judy Baker, D-Columbia, is leading on the Democratic side with 39 percent of the vote. Former House Speaker Steve Gaw, D-Moberly, is in second with 37 percent, followed by Marion County Presiding Commissioner Lyndon Bode with 13 percent and Former State Sen. Ken Jacob with about 9 percent.
On the Republican side, former Tourism Director and State Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer has a strong lead over his four oppponents with 43 percent of the vote. State Rep. Bob Onder, R-Lake St. Louis is currently at a distant second with 25 percent of the vote, State Rep. Danie Moore, R-Fulton, has 22.5 percent, former MU football player Brock Olivo has 7.5 percent and former St. Peters building inspector Dan Bishir has under 2 percent of the vote.
As of this report, 52 percent of the districts in the Ninth Congressional District have reported their votes.
