Attorney General
State Sen. Chris Koster, D-Harrisonville, squeaked by State Rep. Margaret Donnelly, D-Maryland Heights with 800 votes, equaling 34.3 percent of the vote to clinch the Democratic nomination. State Rep. Jeff Harris, D-Columbia, came in third with 25 percent of the vote. Koster will face Senate President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons.

Ninth Congressional District
Rep.  Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-St. Elizabeth, carried the vote in the Ninth District to challenge 25th District Rep. Judy Baker for the Ninth Congressional District seat.  Luektmeyer took 39.7 percent of the vote in the Republican Primary, advancing past Rep. Bob Onder to take the Republican nomination.  Baker overtook former House speaker Steve Gaw, with 44.1 percent of the vote, compared to Gaw's 31.1 percent during the Democratic primary.
