Lieutenant governor debate cancelled

The lieutenant governor debate set for Wednesday in St. Louis' Union Station was cancelled Monday. Incumbent Republican lieutenant governor Peter Kinder had said he would not be able to attend due to prior engagements and Libertarian candidate Teddy Fleck had said he was unsure regarding his availability, leaving Democratic nominee Sam Page as the debate's lone attendee.

The candidates' next debate is not yet scheduled.
