School administrators endorse Nixon

The Missouri Association of School Administrators announced its endorsement of Jay Nixon for Governor earlier today.

After the organization met with both candidates, it decided Nixon is “best suited to meet the challenges facing Missouri schools,” stated a news release from Nixon’s campaign.

This endorsement follows Democratic criticism of Congressman Hulshof’s new education proposal, which creates a tax credit that can be used for tuition or tutoring.

The Hulshof campaign released a news release today asking Missouri voters to donate to his campaign. Midnight is the third quarter fundraising deadline for both campaigns. He asked voters to “make a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $500, or even more,” stated a news release from Hulshof’s campaign. In the news release, Hulshof told voters their contributions were needed to fight back against attacks made by Nixon’s campaign.
