McCain-Palin attack Obama on education
The campaign of Republican presidential nominee John McCain released a video today that levies criticism upon his Democratic opponent, Barack Obama, for his education policy.
The video makes note of what it calls Obama's "one accomplishment", which was legislation proposed to the Illinois Senate in 2003 that would provide comprehensive sex education to all grade levels, from the 12th grade all the way down to kindergarten.
The video correctly states that the bill passed 7-4 the Illinois Senate Health and Human Services Committee, of which Obama was chairman. However, it does not state that the bill was never voted on by the full Senate, and thus never signed into law. In addition, Obama did not author the bill.
