Mr. Nixon goes to Washington
Gov. Jay Nixon is heading to Washington, D.C. this weekend for a meeting of the National Governor's Association, which began today, and to meet with President Barack Obama.
If you're getting up early enough tomorrow or staying up late enough tonight to find out what 7 a.m. looks like (I've heard its nice) then catch the governor in an interview on C-SPAN. In a release, Nixon stated that he will discuss his newly-unveiled Transform Missouri Initiative and the new recovery project at Tuscumbia. He also stated that he and his wife Georganne would rendezvous with the Obamas later that night for an evening at the White House.
