Obama says Missouri out in NCAA 2nd round
President Barack Obama almost thought the Tigers men’s basketball team would advance to the second round of NCAA Tournament. Almost.
And he thinks the Kansas will win the whole thing.
In an ESPN segment titled “Barack-etology 2010” Wednesday, Obama picked the Jayhawks to win the national title game April 5 in Indianapolis.
Check out the video, especially from about the 2:00 mark. The president at first picks the Tigers to upset No. 2 West Virginia in the second round of the East bracket, but backtracks in favor of the Mountaineers when analyst Andy Katz second-guesses his call. He said he thought he was picking Missouri to win over No. 7 Clemson (which he did).
“Almost got in trouble there,” Obama said after wiping away Missouri with a finger.
