Kansas State Preview
For this late in the season, the Missouri Tigers are extremely healthy. Senior tight end Chase Coffman is questionable due to a sprained big toe, but with it being Coffman's last performance at Faurot Field, expect to see No. 45 in action. Senior defensive end Tommy Chavis is also listed as questionable. Chavis was able to see some playing time against Baylor after sitting out against Colorado.
Kansas State is led by junior quarterback Josh Freeman. Freeman is considered by many experts to be a possible NFL 1st round draft pick in the future. So far this season, Freeman has thrown for 2,431 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also leads the team in rushing, adding 313 additional yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. Defensively, the Wildcats are 11th in the Big 12 in points and yards allowed, and one of the worst in the country in both categories.
Saturday's game will be senior day, so expect seniors such as Coffman, Chase Daniel and Tommy Saunders to play at an extremely high level. Another question on the mind of MU fans is Jeremy Maclin. Will this be the last time that Maclin steps out on Faurot Field?
Combined with the emotions of senior day, a night game blackout, and one of the worst defenses in the country, there is no way that Kansas State can expect to stay in this game for long. Freeman will put up points for Kansas State, but will not be able to match his Missouri counterparts.
Prediction: Missouri:52, Kansas State:24
