Defenses wear down in second half
Both Missouri and Illinois have had methodical scoring drives in the third quarter. Illinois struck first on a 19 yard touchdown pass from Williams to junior wide receiver Chris Duvalt.
MU responded with a 12 play drive that took nearly five minutes off the clock. Daniel hit Saunders on a four yard slant for a touchdown bringing the score to 38-20.
