Illini cut lead to one
After not taking advantage of a fumble by senior wide receiver Tommy Saunders in the red zone, the Illini managed to score on their next drive. Williams connected with senior wide receiver Will Judson for a 30 yard touchdown pass. Judson made a spectacular grab with coverage all over him near the sideline.
And then, just like last year, Illinois' first extra point was blocked by Missouri.
The Tigers are currently driving with the ball on the 50 yard line at the end of the first quarter.
