The Missouri Tigers were able to get out of St. Louis with a win, but they were not able to avoid several injuries.

The most notable injury to Tiger fans was of first team All-American, sophomore wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who suffered an ankle sprain. Maclin is probable for this week’s game against Southeastern Missouri, with both the X-ray and MRI results coming back negative.

Senior free safety William Moore also had an ankle sprain, but is likely to play in Saturday’s game as well. Moore will not be practicing on Tuesday.

Senior linebacker Steve Redmond suffered a season ending injury on Saturday night, and will have knee surgery on Tuesday. Much like Cornelius “Pig” Brown did last season, Redmond will still be a leader for the team on the sidelines, coach Gary Pinkel said.

Junior wide receiver Danario Alexander is listed as probable, but will not play against Southeastern Missouri. Pinkel said that Alexander is likely to play against Nevada in two weeks. Junior defensive lineman Andy Maples is also likely to play this week.
