Football injury report
This past week against Southeast Missouri State University, Missouri fans did defensive leader, senior safety William Moore on the field. Moore had an ankle injury, but will most likely play on Saturday. Tomorrow week in practice, he will play with a red jersey to alert players not to hit him as hard.
"He's a high-level player,” coach Gary Pinkel said. “He'll make us a better defense right away. He's our best defensive player. That being said, you have to adjust without him, too. But we're excited about having him back, without question."
Senior defensive back Tru Vaughns also suffered an ankle injury this past week against SEMO. He is questionable for this week’s game against Nevada.
Junior wide receiver Danario Alexander, who has not played yet this season, is nearly back to 100%, and is likely to play this week.
